As you walk into Astha Shakti, a non-profit community center for underprivileged children and women, you meet upbeat kids from all age groups. You and your partner take a tour of this villa dedicated to improving the lives of children on a physical, emotional and intellectual level. Now, there are a few ways you can engage with the kids, as you and your partner take up different roles. (Choose your exact role and associated sponsorship of the supporting material on the next customisations screen) (a) The Teacher – teach them a subject of your choice – be it basic fun with numbers (mathematics), alphabets to grammar of Hindi, English languages, or basic awareness class on geography of India, 3 battles of Panipat, and our Solar System. (b) The Dance Master – show them some fun dance steps and see these energetic kids mimic those with a blend of their own creativity. (c) The Painter – define a theme of the day for kids and help them color it to life. Or even better pick up a white canvas for yourself and paint along with the kids! (d) The You – share own skill, maybe an overview of your work industry (auto, IT, law, etc.) or well being advice (yoga, cooking, hygiene, etc.). You can also join the kids for one of their meals – breakfast, lunch or evening snacks. Feel free to bring your friends and family members to contribute to Astha Shakti and be part of your memorable experience. By the end of the experience, you and your loved one would have forged a more meaningful bond and drawn satisfaction from having given back to society together.
